Wanika Games winner Present Your Startup Bonaire 2020!
Wanika Games named the winner of the first edition of Present Your Startup Bonaire. Out of 75 applicants, ten startups made it all the way to the Academy, only five got to the next and final round. On February 20th, day of the finals, hosted by Ramon Koffijberg and co-hosts by Damaly Linkers (from Bonaire) and Valerie Vallenduuk, (PYS founder), the evening took place at the Spice Beach Club in Kralendijk. Joelissa Martina, founder of Creative World won the Public Choice’s prize.
Entrepreneurs Vanessa Peralta and Fernando Nava, founders of Wanika Games, build Educational board games about history, culture and nature of tourist destinations, their mission is to locally inspire you and your family or friends to make you fall in love with the place you are at.
The winners impressed the panel with their solid business plan and powerful pitch. They raised 50.000 USD dollar with 3 informal investors and won also the jury prize to pitch in a next round in Curaçao. As part of the warm audience, Lieutenant Governor Edison Rijna and Deputy De Heyer were there.

Present Your Startup Curaçao 2019
Entrepreneur Cristal Legrand from St. Martin of Le Grand Voyages is announced winner of the finals of Present Your Startup Caribbean 2019 during the third edition of the startup pitch competition on Curaçao. The finals took place during the closing session of The Road to GES2019 Caribbean, a pre event of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) that takes place in the Netherlands in June.
Cristal wins a trip to the GES and a trip to Miami during the takeover of Curacao at Venture Cafe. Runner up Gridspan Energy from the United States also wins a trip to Miami.
During the finals, the startups Gridspan Energy, INFORMAMI, Seam Social Labs, CaribAlgea and Le Grand Voyages pitched their ideas to an audience of government officials, investors, experts and entrepreneurs.
Present Your Startup Caribbean 2018
CHING winner of Present Your Startup Caribbean 2018!
Ching named best startup of the second edition of Present Your Startup Caribbean on August 29. Green Phenix got the public choice award. Out of 40 applicants, five startups made it all the way to the finals on August 29 at Cinemark Sambil on Curacao. The other proud finalists were Sageroots, Fresh Habits and Flying Fish. Flying Fish announced his partnership with Curaca based company Damen. The evening was hosted by Ramon Koffijberg. Ramon is also director of CINEX, one of the partners of the Present Your Startup Program. Other partners are Curacao Development institute and COSME (EU funded program).
A panel of investors and experts choose Chad Lettsome as the winner of Present Your Startup Caribbean 2018. The winner got a spot in the finals of Present Your Startup the Netherlands, which will take place on November 28 in Haarlem. Chad won also 10.000 guilders (made possible by CINEX and CDI) and announced his partnership with partner CXpay from Curacao.
The public choice award winner Sabine gets 5000 guilders (made possible by CINEX and CDI). She already won a spot in the Dutch finals in november because of winning the Present Your Startup edition in New York.
